When it comes to the people who make up our Pet Partners teams there is no more of an understated leader and team than the team at Southern Tier Veterinary Associates in Vestal, NY.  When the East coast was hit first with a hurricane and then in the next week hit with more rain than the rivers could handle, this practice was set in the middle of one of the worst floods to hit the area in many years. The team there banded together, and accomplished amazing things when faced with all of this adversity.  Our receptionist Carla routed the telephones to her personal cell phone and fielded calls for eight days.  A group of our employees made sandbags out of kitty litter and garbage bags – saving the hospital from the flooding that took place at neighboring businesses.  Without hesitation, the hospital provided a safe place for animals displaced in the storms.  This team pulled together in extreme circumstances, and for all of their efforts, we recognize everyone at Southern Tier Veterinary Associates as Pet Partners “Employee of the Month”
