When you think of the NAVC 2017 in Orlando, what comes to mind? If you automatically jump to tourist-saturated theme parks and crowded chain restaurants, then think again (unless that’s your thing).  Orlando has a pretty impressive array of dining options, day trips, and adventures.

We’ve compiled a list of what to explore in Orlando when you have time to venture out during NAVC 2017.

Farm and Haus

Farm and Haus

If you’re searching for a quick, healthy breakfast, Farm and Haus is your spot. Each dish is made from scratch with local ingredients. Founders Brittany and Patrick Lyne believe that “good food shouldn’t be hard to come by.” Try their chorizo burrito or one of their hand-picked dishes for the week. Their french toast topped with homemade sausage and a fried egg (featured left) is making us seriously consider hopping on a plane to Orlando a little early.

Ravenous Pig

Ravenous Pig

With sustainable food using ingredients directly from Florida, this American gastropub offers a variety of tasty sandwiches filled with pork belly, fresh Mahi, or fried chicken. Want something on the lighter side? Opt for the shrimp tacos or a charcuterie board.
