Additionally, Pet Partners is committed to creating opportunities to connect our community of veterinarians and hospitals and to provide support for continuous improvement and advancement in medical care for all our patients. Support is provided by linking our medical teams throughout the Pet Partners community so we can all learn from each other. We strongly believe that excellence in care is a joint effort of primary care veterinarians, emergency veterinarians, veterinary specialists, and their paraprofessional teams. At Pet Partners, we encourage our leaders and their teams to take advantage of the knowledge and experience available at the hospitals in our community. We help guide the collaboration between you and our other hospitals in many ways, one of which being the Medical Mentorship Committee.
Our Medical Mentorship Committee offers a variety of different programs that support our purpose of creating a collaborative medical community. These include an extensive mentorship program that currently offers in-hospital opportunities within the anesthesia, surgery and technician specialties, an Intranet discussion forum, externships, a journal club, and much more.Nick Nelson, DVM, MBA, DABVP
