ABE Veterinary Hospital

Company Overview:

Since June of 2003, Pet Partners has specialized in purchasing neighborhood veterinary hospitals throughout the United States and has provided them with centralized business management services that help support the many organizational burdens of practice ownership.

Job Title: Veterinarian- Generous Sign on Bonus + Relocation Provided!

Description:

Are you a Veterinarian looking for more than a job, a place where you are a valued team member and have fun while providing exceptional service to pets?  If so, you’ve come to the right place! ABE Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a passionate, self-motivated and experienced part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join our team! We are a dedicated, team-oriented group with two full-time practicing doctors and have developed a culture that we believe to be unparalleled in patient care.

Our hospital is located in beautiful Lehigh County and is within driving distance of the Pocono Mountains, Philadelphia, and NYC. The area has a thriving cultural scene, with stage theaters, art museums, an amusement park with world-class coaster and water slides, premier bicycle racing track, Class AAA minor league baseball, Lehigh Valley Zoo, various historical sites, and lots of arts and music festivals for individuals and families.

ABE Veterinary Hospital is unique in the fact that we offer state of the art digital dental radiography and an Idexx I-Vision CR system along with a therapeutic approach to activate a stress-free environment during the appointment process. We also strongly believe in the importance of educating our clients. Therefore, our team hosts educational lectures for pet owners. We have also implemented various programs that assist our clients in the process of helping their pets live a healthy life. To properly educate our clients, the team also receives continuing education through online webinars in order to stay up to date on various topics such as customer service, pharmacy laws, hospital protocols, illness and wellness care, diagnostics, and much more. We are proud to announce that ABE is currently in the process of becoming AAHA accredited as we have continued to raise our standards and provide excellent care.

A big part of our success is due to our hospital’s commitment to communication and leadership. We believe in consistent communication to keep everyone on our team aligned. Morning rounds, weekly staff meetings, and team building events are a frequent occurrence as we place a lot of value in our staff and want them to continue to grow and learn with us. We have built strong ties within our local and surrounding communities as we have been in practice for 40 years. ABE’s vision continues to spread through the community as we organize annual events and fundraisers to bond with the community while raising money for local animal shelters. Our clients can attest to the exceptional customer service that they find here. ABE is highly regarded throughout the state of PA and has been voted “Best Veterinarian” by Readers Choice of the Morning Call Newspaper. Our clients have also provided us with high ratings which you can find on Google.

Our ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a small animal practice, strong medical diagnostic skills; will communicate effectively with clients in a professional yet friendly manner; enjoys a team approach and is comfortable with soft tissue surgical procedures if needed. Each doctor’s contracted hours will allow time for “charting” and “call backs” in order to prevent work from spilling over into their home life and to also prevent them from surpassing the contracted hours. This will also provide a balance between appointments and desk time so that each patient and client’s needs are met accordingly. The selected individual will be scheduled to work anywhere from 32-40 hours per week as we value your time and want our team members to have a good work/life balance and take advantage of all the great opportunities our area has to offer!

Why does our staff love working at ABE? You could say it’s because the positive energy here is contagious, laughter is frequent and every employee shares the same vision. We truly value our team members and think of each other as family.

We offer a competitive compensation/benefit package including: medical and dental benefits, competitive salary plus production, employee incentive programs, pet benefits, annual continuing education allowance with paid days off, vacation and sick time, paid AVMA PLIT, veterinarian and DEA licensing fees, paid AVMA and VIN membership dues, 401-k, and much more!
