|Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut is seeking an additional board certified or board eligible critical care specialist to join our current team of two board-certified critical care specialists. We are a multispecialty small animal practice composed of five Internal Medicine specialists, six surgeons, four medical oncologists, one radiation oncologist, three radiologists, and a cardiologist in addition to our two DACVECCS. We have 24-hour ER at all three locations staffed by twenty full-time ER doctors. Our doctors pride themselves on providing expert, timely, collaborative, and compassionate care. Our hospital values a culture of teamwork and offers formal communication training to all our doctors.
Critical care doctors Veterinary Specialists are primarily responsible for the direct management of patients hospitalized in the ICU. We also consult on other specialty services; cases, assist with procedures and contribute to the in-house education of interns, ER doctors, and the other specialists.
